Church Operator Guide

For ushers, ministry leads, pastors, and camera techs. No technical background is required.

This copy is a Scalable MVP in Simulation Mode. The yellow banner on every signed-in screen is there on purpose.

TempleVault remains the church record for people, events, and (after a successful push) attendance. IntelliScan101 stores face templates and local attendance events only. It does not become a second membership database.

  1. Open the attendance address you were given for this campus.
  2. Choose Usher, Ministry Lead, Pastor / Admin, or Camera Tech. Click Open Attendance.
  3. Use the password you were given.
  4. Click Sign Out when you leave a shared desk. Ushers are signed out after 30 minutes idle. Other church roles after 2 hours, unless Admin changes it.

Usher: Ordinary Service

  • The home screen is Attendance.
  • Start a service before anyone is recognised. On Attendance, click Start This Service on the TempleVault gathering. You can also do that from Events.
  • Names appear when a linked adult is recognised at the door, in the sanctuary (if that mode is on), or when you click Mark Present.
  • If a match looks wrong, open Review Queue. A person decides. The computer does not.

Face Links (Ministry Lead, Pastor, Camera Tech)

There is no "create member" form.

  1. Open Face Links.
  2. Search the TempleVault roster. Select an Active adult. Minors, inactive rows, and do-not-match rows stay blocked.
  3. Capture a clear front-facing photo or short video.
  4. Tick consent. The California privacy notice is shown on that screen.
  5. Click Create Face Link.

Update a template later from the same page if hair, glasses, or lighting change. Linking a face does not create a TempleVault person.

Attendance Push

Each present row is queued to TempleVault. Sent to TempleVault is success. Not Sent. Retry means the last push failed. Click Retry, or wait: failed rows are retried automatically.

Reports downloads a local CSV for the campus. TempleVault remains the church record after a successful push.

Pastor and Camera Tech

  • Integration Status shows the directory provider, last roster sync, last push, and failed pushes.
  • Admin is cameras, purpose (Door Entry, Door Exit, Sanctuary, Unused), match thresholds, and retention. There is no curfew setting. This product is attendance, not a residential scheme.
  • Sanctuary cameras sample more slowly (20 seconds in the demo) than the door (5 seconds).
  • Door Exit cameras do not write attendance.

If the Screen Is Wrong

  • Use Mark Present. The computer is a helper.
  • If a camera row says Not Connected or No Recent Sample, attendance may lag. Fix the URL, then Check Connection.
  • Never photograph a member to test the demo unless they consented and you are on an approved test environment.
